My dog has an auto immuno disease which means if he eats something that his body doesn't like, it will be attacked which gives him a very nasty, itchy sore rash that is easily infected (similar to lupus where symptoms are concerned), so he has a medicated food from the vets which fools his body and so the products of the food are not attacked by his immune system. So no, they aren't always healthy you dipshit.

He isn't disabled, just as those who have lactose or nut allergies are not disabled, a disability is a mental or physical condition, sometimes both which means you may not be able to care for yourself alone or carry out certain tasks, like holding down a job.

Well no it doesn't as it means his risk of obesity, from other dog foods, treats and pie is majorly reduced, he is also very unlikely to develop conditions such as canine diabetes or other conditions commonly found in over fed dogs.
