Ouch!

I'm sorry you're going through that! I can understand why you'd be willing to give up the extra income in order to have a more comfortable pregnancy. Not to argue with Korey, but I worked at a grocery store all throughout my pregnancy as a front end supervisor, and standing in one place cashiering was much more difficult for me in terms of pain/discomfort than having the freedom and flexibility to move around (bending, lifting, getting carts from the parking lot, etc was much better for me).

Ouch!

I've had a couple of friends suffer from SPD - it sounds really awful. I hope the physio helps.

Ouch!

I hate you are having that kind of pain. Maybe you could re-apply to the BX or something? A cashier position wouldn't be nearly as demanding physically. It really stinks that you can't sit the LC exam until the end of July!

Happy Mother's Day to you!

Skype

I agree. When I was in Australia I was very reliant on Skype but it made it feel as if my friends weren't so far away. I don't know how I would have coped without it.

Skype

Well way to make me CRY. I am so glad we got to Skype with you too. I hate it. I agree. Our husbands come home but the families we have made elsewhere are just gone. It's gut wrenching really.

Skype

i have a Skype, but i am terrible at using it! i only ever used it to speak with my mum as she lives abroad, but then we figured Viber had better quality.
glad you have been having a good experience with the Skype =] have a great rest of your day! ♥

May the odds be ever in your favour.

Baby Projects

This whole thing is giving me nursery envy. I need to get started on mine and the plans for it but I don't know where to begin!

Baby Projects

That's such a great idea. I love the teal crib, it's wonderful.

I love crochet toys... Gorgeous!

Baby Projects

I LOVE LOVE the pattern! Is that by the same lady that did the hippo? SO stinking cute! I also love the idea of painting your crib. I never thought of doing that. Such a good idea!

Take it easy with the unpacking! I am not sure I am going to be able to contain myself until November. *Sigh* lol

Baby Projects

I think that sounds like an adorable idea.

New Home

What a blessing! I'm glad you have such a sweet landlady. It worked out in your favor that the previous tenants took such poor care of the space. Yay!

[FightingChance]

New Home

She sounds like a great landlady! Not many like that out there!

[.Blue Bella.]

New Home

Wow! Thank goodness there are some amazing landlords/ladies out there. I bet it'll feel wonderful having what'll be almost entirely a new house!

New Home

Yay! I can't wait to see pics! I also need a bump photo. Ginger misses her Auntie Korey

Maternity system grump

Haha I am not sure what they use here, I hadn't looked into it that far yet. I agree pethidine is nasty. I will let you know when I find out!

Maternity system grump

I'm an anaesthetist in the UK and hearing American birth stories makes me realise how much better we are at obstetrics here. I presume they don't use diamorphine over there either as I don't think it's available in the US. Do they use pethidine (horrible drug in my opinion) or morphine? I'm guessing remifentanil PCAs are completely unheard of.
