Parenthood. It's something that can be learned, but it's best to be born with it. When I lived with Hacker, I spent my pregnancy scared to death. What was I going to do when I had to go to work, and leave her alone with him? I had nightmares over it. His mother refered to my child as hers and expected me to leave her with them for half the week, every week. I'm sorry, I planned on breastfeeding, and I couldn't stand the thought of leaving my precious angel with such incompetent idiots!

It's different with Chris. I see him with Aiden...the little boy I sit for. I see how he is just a natural with him. He's so patient and understanding. I really can't wait to have kids with Chris. I know I'll get support and love from him and his parents.

I couldn't be happier.

How sweet. But I have to disagree. Men aren't born knowing how to be fathers. It's something that is taught to them as children by their own fathers. That's why parents are so important. There was a study done with lambs. The lambs that were raised by their mothers or other sheep ended up becoming wonderful mothers themselves. Those that were raised by humans ended up rejecting and refusing to nurse their young. That's why it seems so much harder to parent these days: our generation didn't learn it from our own parents because most of us were in daycare and school during our formative years.

Bah! Didn't mean to lecture! LOL. All I meant to say was that it's wonderful that he'll be a good father.

oh my gosh, that is the sweetest picture ever.Whenever my Christopher is around my kids at work he acts all goofy and cute. He wouldn't be if he didn't like kids....
Ryc: no I am not on the lease. It's just in his name.

And Hacker is not worth the time I agree.

Oh my goodness, my mom wasn't home last night and it was so nice. She had a scrapbooking class thingie and she was gobe until 9:00, but I had already been in bed asleep because, as I was trying to write on my story, I couldn't keep my eyes open.

But it was nice. My daddy and I have the same personality so it was all quiet and stuff like that., where my mom parades into the room all loud and dramatic.

Gosh, it has been a wicked couple of months. You'll have to read up on my past entries to get updated.

RYC - I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like people with bad childhoods couldn't be good parents. (I'm one of those people). I just meant that it takes alot more work to make it happen, that's all.

ryc: yes, it was a good weekend. Now I don't want to go home. It was sooo nice not having to deal with mother, even if she was in a good mood.

Aww. That is such a sweet picture! And I'm glad that you found a guy who is genuinely going to be a good father. It's hard to find that in this day and age. :]
