When I worked at Wendy's, we were kitty-corner from a KFC/Taco Bell. One day we had this unnaturally HUGE surge of customers ordering nuggets and chicken sandwiches and such. Finally my asst. manager asked one of the customers about it, just kind of making conversation, and the customer was like, "KFC HAS NO CHICKEN!!!"

We had a good laugh over that, when the rush was over.

Just another person who thinks she's entitled to have everything she wants right when she wants it. We're way too spoiled in our western culture. Yes, McD was wrong in that instance, but really, how bizarre to get so upset about it! LOL.

I love the explanation she gave on the article I read on MSNBC:

"I think it's wrong, because like I said, it's not about no chicken nugget meal," Goodman said. "If everybody listen(s) to the news, they'll understand my statement that McDonald's took my money. They didn't have any chicken nuggets, and so I asked for my (money) back."

The 10-piece chicken McNuggets meal is valued at $3.49.

"When you feel that you've been mistreated or misused or robbed out of your money, you have the right to call 911," Goodman said. "That's the purpose of 911, so I thought."

It reminds me of all the times that people have called the cops on Target because when we can't return something (that they have NO PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR that is usually $100+) we're 'stealing their money.' Every time the cops have had to come out the guest had to be escorted out by the police for freaking the fuck out. *sigh* I hate idiots.

So the concept of 9-1-1 being for emergencies only is a new one to her?

Or is losing $3.49 THAT MUCH of an emergency?

Hey now! She clearly had a valid emergency. When I think of emergencies I think of:

- Someone going into anaphylactic shock.
- armed assault/robbery
- someone being assaulted/eaten by a large animal with sharp teeth
- McDick's running out of Chicken McNuggets

duh.

Dude, you forgot not being able to find my car keys! That's definitely one of the things you can call 9-1-1 for.

I want to know where the hell you are buying a 10 piece meal for 3.49. Even when I lived in wisconsin it was 5 something, here in Denver it is over 7.00
