Fiestyness (is that even a word) and bickering are very different haha. Least thats how I see it. Maybe I am used to many more insults for it to be considered bickering ;)

Yeah, it did! Problem number 50 with people who can't hold a good debate: unnecessarily freaking the hell out at the tiniest of comments!

Gosh, what a good idea, yo! Yes, we need more Xtra spying features. I think there should also be a feature where we can see exactly what other diaries our viewers are reading, and for how long, so, like, we can compare how long they stay on each diary and thus work out who they love best. Like, if Botty spends longer reading Ryan's entries than mine, then I can totally kick up a big fuss and block her, yo! I think there should also be a feature where we see what other websites our viewers are looking at - so we can see what sort of people they are and whether we want them looking at our diaries at all! Like, for all I know, Ryan could be spending online time watching gay porn - in which case he's really not the sort I want to associate with! And while we're at it, how about a feature which tells us the social class, income and alcohol consumption of our viewers. That way we can weed out all the naughty plebs and alcoholics!

Yes, but that would be far to accurate and would ruin our "YOU'RE A FAKER!" name-calling fun with truth and facts. And who really wants that??

I'll be honest, I never did get this whole thing about 'lurkers' etc. If you don't want people reading your stuff and looking at your pictures, why post them online? Or at least not have a private diary... If you're going to post something on the internet, on a community site, and not even have your page set to 'friends only', you shouldn't be able to see who's been there and for how long. All that does is make the random browsers uncomfortable. For instance, would you believe that the FIRST (and regrettably last) time I used the 'random' button, one of the journalists I found actually had the audacity to leave me a comment saying 'I saw you read my entry but didn't leave a comment...' Really? I think I told them that I didn't find them that interesting right before they aslo became the first person I ever blocked. Personally, I think reverse-lurking is just as creepy.

I dont get the 'lurker' thing either. I figure if I am a good enough blooper I will get enough comments!

I write a lot and most of my entries dont get any comments because there is nothing for the commenters to say!

Yeah, exactly. Some people just don't feel comfortable commenting on the day-to-day activities of people they don't know. It's just weird I guess.

1. placing how long a person was at your diary is a ridiculous ideas for all the reasons already listed here (so I agree with the non-agreers)

2. I never go back to a diary that either demands or asks that you leave a comment. I don't always have something to say so I don't want to feel obligated to leave a comment when I have absolutely nothing to say.

I have a habit of sometimes leaving my Bloop on while I do other things...and it doesn't mean I spend all day on one person's page. I happen to do other things or go somewhere and just leave it open. So I don't think it would necessarily prove anything except maybe freak people out without any point.
