So this is what I'm gathering. I'm a bad mother because I want a vacation. I'm a bad mother because I'd rather take my vacation while she's a baby rather than when she's older and would pitch a huge outragious fit. I'm a bad mother because my daughter has tried baby food. I'm a bad mother because my daughter is loved, changed, played with, fed, talked to, bathed, and is extremely healthy. And I am a horrible mother because I actually take care of my daughter.

Oh, and I'm a horrible mother because I would rather be immature online than at home:). How nice.

I think perhaps what Elysium means by your immaturity is the way you're too stubborn to take advice from the people who REALLY know what they're talking about... the way you're prepared to put your daughter's life at risk rather than do what someone else is telling you. That is a little immature. A mature person would put their daughter first, not their ego.

the skills that you dont fend for your own child, pay for her food, her clothes etc... your mother takes care of her while you wilst yourself away to another part of the country to reason with your own feelings while leaving your child to be attended by another person. i dont know what "skills" you are talking about but im sure you dont have any because any normal sane mother wouldnt leave their child to follow a fling across the country.

Here's the funny thing. I looked for a job the whole time I was pregnant. Got a couple of calls, but never got the job. I am almost 7 weeks PP and just got out of doctors care, so that there is another reason I couldn't look for work. My mother does NOT take care of my daughter, but yes, my mother wants to keep my daughter here while I go across the country so I can follow my "fling".

And who said I was sane? Normal is way too overrated.

I also agree with Tracie. I disagree wholeheartedly with what Darenda is doing but I am not going to stand in her way of doing it. We all have told her our opinions and concerns and she has told us that she won't listen to them. She's had Charitys doctor telling her she shouldn't be feeding Charity anything but formula or breast milk but she chose not to listen to her own professional, what makes you think she'll listen to you? This whole thing has turned into such a stupid ass controversy seriously. Time to get over it and let it go.
