Makeovers

02/12/2009

sometimes, even the smallest change goes a LONG way!

Hey Everyone!
I've been thinking about what makes a person beautiful.
Obviously, as i've said before confidence is key,
but sometimes it's hard feel confident if you are already bored with yourself.
so that's where makeovers came to mind!

Gals and Guys alike can do it!
It doesn't have to be drastic like dying your hair, or plastic surgery,
but sometimes just a simple little change can make all the difference!

iVillage is a great place to get information, new styles, and a million ideas on a little or big change!
Beauty at iVillage

In my opinion, I've always been one for drastic, HUGE changes.
I would constantly dye my hair, get piercings, tattoo's, change my wardrobe, all the time!

Begin your makeover slow and steady:
Start with buying a new pair of shoes or purse you've always wanted,
try a different outfit that isn't apart of your everyday style,

and slowly work up for something drastic like:
a new piercing/tattoo
or go to a salon and get highlights if you've always been dark and want to try being a blonde.

Do something to initiate change, because i promise you; you will gain immediate confidence that will be beaming bright and very noticeable!

my big confidence boost: switching from neutrogena make-up to Mineral Wear (the cheap version of Bare Minerals). it's the most amazing make-up i've ever worn and it helped me feel loads better about my acne! haha

yeah it is! do you have an ULTA store there? the starter kit for Bare Minerals is like $60 but i paid $20 for my starter kit, which is base, blush, and finishing powder there. i love it!

I totally love having a hair stylist sister. Whenever I need a change, I just ask her to try something new. I've been blonde, red, black with red, brown/blonde highlights, long hair and short bobs. lol. What really boosts my confidence is when I get super dressed up to go out running errands. I do my hair, makeup, put on a cute shirt and shoes, accessories. It always makes me carry myself better and I feel so cute.

I always wanted to be more 'glamourous' and I think that might be a start for me.
