Thanks sweetie. I do feel very mislead. No one informed me of any of this, and having never been to a Catholic Mass or Ceremony of ANY TYPE.... how the heck am I supposed to know? I feel it was my In Laws and Husband's duty to inform me of this. They just assumed I would know.

We're not taking communion, because I'm not baptized and am not allowed to take communion within the Catholic church, etc. So we're leaving out that part totally.

I just wish he understood why I was/am upset about this stuff.

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

No, my mother told me after I put him in prison that I tore apart our family, and I took her husband away from her, she would never forgive me for this. She said it was my fault because I must have done something to provoke it.

♥Mindi

[Expecting Baby #3Star|0 likes] [|reply]

ryc; thanks :] i did tell her how she could have handled it differently, and she just said "i know mom. i know." lol it was the funniest thing ever xD

RYC: It's alright. I'm just going to do what I need to do to make this day work. If she doesn't want to participate in anything and wants to just go home, that's fine. I'll be there with all of my other friends and family, and we'll have a blast!

That's what my Husband basically said. In my family, we have always practiced waiting until they are older and able to understand the purpose of baptism. We don't practice nor believe in original sin, and we don't practice in infant baptism. Hubby is Catholic and believes as does his family that there is no other option. I feel like I am being forced to baptize, and I hate it.

RYC: Thank you for your insight my dear. <3 We did take inter faith classes through our marital counseling, even met with other couples, etc. I felt like they were more so encouraging conversion, and the one that didn't, they basically converted to HER faith even though he (The Catholic) did not ;; the kids were raised in her faith, etc.

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

I know. My biggest fear is that he will continue to do this without my consent and knowledge. I will not hesitate to end this marriage if he cannot respect what I need him to.

I will let my emotions cool, and then I will re-evaluate this. If this is what ends my marriage, then its a lesson learned, I really hope it doesnt though.

RYC: They diagnosed him w/ carpal tunnel years ago and even did the surgery on one of his wrists which confirmed it was carpal tunnel. It went away for a while but since his job is mainly with computers, it's a "side effect" of the job. They also diagnosed the ulnar nerve problem a few years ago and wanted him to have the surgery back then. We're pretty sure it's carpal tunnel because he has a history of it and with his job being computers all day long.. it's just the likely thing.

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: Yeah, from what he says the surgery was just extremely painful and it never really took the initial issues away. He can still function with his hands, it's just frustrating for him sometimes. He periodically gets "tingly" finger tips, or shooting pains, or sometimes his fingers just go numb all together. It's just frustrating. They just wanted to make sure it wasn't damage to his nerves from the diabetes that he's not maintained very well.

Watching his diet, no. He's not doing any better on that and honestly I doubt he ever will. He loves food and he loves to eat, so that's why we've pushed the insulin PUMP on him. It gives you more freedom to eat what you want. His Mom can even eat regular foods (she has a pump) without worrying about it.

Exercise, yeah right. I can barely get the man to mow the yard. We're paying $60 a month for a YMCA membership that none of us uses. I told him the other day that I wanted to cancel it. I can't use it right now because I'm pregnant.. I can walk and stuff but I don't want to actually go into the gym and I can't start a big work out regimen at 6 months LOL But then I thought about it and if I want to lose weight after the baby is born, it's going to be too cold to walk with him outside so maybe I should keep it anyways. I'm not sure yet.

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

ryc - Any and all input is welcome! I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

And, thank you! 07.06.10

RYC; Thanks I remember going to bed at like 8 when I was in first grade... but I think by 3rd/4th grade I was going to bed at 9:30 or so. I can't remember. My daughter probably wouldn't fall asleep until 9:30 even if I put her to bed at 8. LOL

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: She does.. there are plenty of people who are upset with her. I am, to the point, of having to deal with her only at family functions. I would prefer not to spend any extra time with her, because I am so tired of hearing the same shit all the time. Yes, her sister is sick. Yes, her Mother in law is old and getting older by the minute. Yes, my Husband (her son) has diabetes. Yes, I'm pregnant. BLAH! LoL. That's all we ever talk about and I'm so tired of hearing it from her. =\

I think she's afraid that the home aids can't give the "proper" care to her.

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

ryc: Vegas was never really a place I thought I'd go, but I loved it. So much to see and do. Not a place for kids...even with Circus Circus and some of the other arcades. I just wouldn't take my kids and expose them to some of the stuff I saw there, but I'd love to go back once more to see the things I missed. If you are into "sight seeing", it's a great place!

[*Stealth Bombshell*|0 likes] [|reply]

Walmart, it was 20 bucks I think!

[○MindiStar|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: Haha, you are totally right. My best friend and I said we were going to just move in together and let the boys have a house to themselves that they can trash and make nasty.. and we'll have our own pretty, girly, decorated house together that will stay clean! lol

I do like the Chevy Traverse. I really like the GMC Acadia, too. They're both NICE Suvs. I think we're really going to start looking in November.

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: Honestly I have no idea if they come with separate bases or not! I've never thought about that. How in the world would you buy a separate base?

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: See, that's what I thought but I've never seen them advertised any where. We got the Graco Passage Travel System - Lowery from Target. I wonder if I can just google extra bases. That'd be way more cost effective. LOL

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

Maybe. But at the same time, I don't want to put another woman in danger. All of my female friends have families. I think maybe we should meet at a coffee shop or something without Kaidance? What do you think?

[queenbutterflyStar|0 likes] [|reply]

I think it must be different in the state of NC. It's a very strict state and very expensive for any one to go to court for child custody. Three of my residents are "fighting it out in court," for custody and all three of them have spent in excess of $10,000 and they are just in the beginning process.

My attorney allows payment plans but will not do any work until the balance is paid off. So I can pay, but he won't represent me. I've called four other attorneys and they are all like this.

And if he calms down and is willing to take this seriously, I don't think meeting would be a horrible thing. We're going to have to meet at some point in the future. So why not just begin being civil now you know?

[queenbutterflyStar|0 likes] [|reply]

i like them bc they denied me at first cuz they didnt want to put me in a car knowin i cant afford it. so they gave me a car according to my budget and help build my credit

[mama of 3|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC:

Thanks. I feel so guilty thinking about getting rid of him but seriously, I can't handle this any more. This problem has just gotten out of hand lately. My DH wants to meet with a different Vet. to see if there's anything else we can do. The problem is that I'm tired of spending $400 every time we go to the vet for something and it doesn't work. =\

I think it's important for the kids to stay up to date on the current things. She's has a whole summer off - she needs to get back into this routine & quickly. Not only that, but look at how advanced other cultures are (such as China!) compared to us. We need to keep our kids up to date on this stuff. An hour of home work a night won't kill her so yeah, I'm trying to stay positive. I let her take breaks, etc.

I just get frustrated with his Mom. LOL. Honestly. It's like, if I give a little, she goes so over board. We went over there for a few hours on Saturday and we hung out and talked whatever, and then she started messaging and commenting me and calling me again. I don't care for her to do this stuff I just wish it were in moderation. My own Mom doesn't call me every day. =\ lol

I know! I hope we do, I love it there lol. I would probably contract my cousin to do it or something, I trust her judgement for the most part. I just need her to do the actual bookings, I can talk to them about everything else. Maybe we will make a trip there just for some planning things as it gets closer.

*fingers crossed*

RYC: Sigh.. my husband. That's all I can say. LOL

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: thanks! yeah I would definitely stay in school. My boyfriend would be making enough to support us in a couple of years so he'd stay in school too and we'd just live off student loans and government aid. surprisingly, we'd be better off financially if it turns out i am pregnant!

[yo, erin|0 likes] [|reply]

ryc; i just decided to not go back to school right now. i was missing out on too much with the babies growing up and i wanted to spend more time with them.

[brooke♥|0 likes] [|reply]

RYC: Eh, not really. I was okay with doing it for certain college classes - like when I was in my nursing program we did it and it was fine because it was nice to know who was who, etc.. I think for a 3 week labor/birth class t's silly lol

[-AndBabyMakesFour!-Star|0 likes] [|reply]

I sure can!

I'm using pork chops instead of pork loin - but the recipe calls for 1 1/2 - 2 lb pork loin. You need 1 cup of apple juice or cider (I'm using cider). 1 1/2 butternut squash. 2 large granny smith apples (the green ones). Sage and Thyme for seasoning and salt & pepper. Also, 1/2 c. of brown sugar.

You put the cider into a skillet and "sear" the pork (to my understanding LOL this means cook it on the outside?). Then you put the pork in the crock pot and season w/ salt and pepper on both sides.

Combine juice, cut/peeled apples and squash (I didn't peel my squash I just cut it) and then you add the seasoning and brown sugar. Stir it up a little bit and then you're good to go.

It says to cook on low for 5-6 hours, but I'm cooking on high for 3 hours b/c I ran out of time LOL
