I'm a single mother.
I love my child. More than I have words to express. And that's saying quite a bit because I have a tendency to babble.
I have a wonderful support system in my family, and lots of volunteers among my friends should I need a babysitter.

But I am alone.
It makes me ache. I wish I had someone to share her with.
But when I really think about it... I know I'm afraid to be hurt again.
And I'm also of the mind that no one will ever be good enough for her.

Dont despair. There's someone for everyone, i'm a firm believer. You'll find someone amazing that will be more than "good enough" to be around your baby. In the meantime keep being a good mom. Focus on her, and your relationship with her, and your life together.

I sorta know how you feel, I am a divorced stand-in mom of 4 (i'm raising my nieces and nephews) and have been hurt, but its hurts to be alone. Eventually tho, you will find someone, or they will find u! Keep your head up, and your heart open.
