The Insanity that is Me
by bifempagan
Welcome to my space.

I am me, nothing more, nothing less

I am myself. I am woman, I am wife. I am mother, daughter, sister, friend and cousin. I can be nothing more than I am, nor can I be any less.

I'm a 40 something wife and mom of three. I'm not your average white, middle-class Christian PTA going soccer mom. Anyone who knows me will tell you that. I'm something of a feminist, I have a little crunch to me, and I'm working on being more crunchy. I'm intelligent, but tend to act like I'm dumber than a mud fence in a rainstorm. Not because I *like* acting dumb, but due to medical conditions, my brain doesn't work the way it should anymore.

I am my grandparents' granddaughter, the spitting image of my father, and when the day is done, my children are my greatest fans. I'm a saint, I'm a sinner. I'm a loser, I'm a winner. I am steady and unstable. I am young, but I am able. It's just me.

I'm definitely not Christian, although I do believe the Christian God exists, as does Buddha, and Allah and every other deity man prays to. I have my own beliefs and opinions, and will hold to them. I can see your point of view, and even AGREE with your point of view, but you will not change my mind. I am passionate. I have strong feelings, both 'good' and 'bad' (meaning love and hate, happiness and anger), and I feel them VERY intensely.

I do not tolerate stupid people or stupid actions very well. They frustrate me, and, honestly, I have an extremely low tolerance for frustration.

Life is not meant to be lived on automatic pilot, letting each moment, each minute, hour and day pass you by. Live your life MINDFULLY, fully in the present moment, and actually stop and pay attention to everything you've been MISSING in your hurry to get to wherever you think you need to be next. Because, once you get THERE, you're only going to start thinking about the NEXT thing you have to do. STOP and for once, live in the moment, because NOW is all we have. Every breath is one you've never had before, every beam of light is brand new, every step you take is one you've never taken before. Take the time to enjoy them while they're here, before they're gone. Every minute you waste is 60 seconds you'll never get back. What could YOU do with those 60 seconds?
