ryc: Sure, no problem. I hope I didn't sound like a know-it-all, I've just done a LOT of rabbit research, lol. Yeah, the books usually do say at least 3 hours, but my rabbit will go back to his crate and/or sleep on the floor after 30-45 minutes too, lol. Like I said before, he gets 1/4 cup gourmet mix & 1/4 cup plain alfalfa pellets a day, unlimited timothy hay, he gets one blueberry yoghurt treat a day, and for snacks we give him apples, bananas, lettuce, carrot shavings, raddish, bell peppers, broccoli, celery, fennel, kiwi, peaches, plums, pears, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapple, grapes, oranges... lol. Really, they can eat just about anything fruit/vegetable wise. There is a very long list of plants and foods that are poisonous to your rabbit, too, though.. however all the ones I've mentioned are fine in moderation (but can really cause them to become overweight if fed too much).

Naa, lettuce is just another one of those things that you want to introduce in tiny amounts to see if it's going to effect them by giving them diarrhea or not. You don't give iceburg lettuce, though, because that is basically ALL water, lol. It doesn't make mine have diarrhea, but I've heard it can really upset a tummy on one!
