Had to turn the heat on this morning!

Parent/Teacher conference at David's school today.  I'm having an internal debate on whether or not I want to just bite my tongue and let my kid deal with a crappy teacher on his own, or let her know that I don't appreciate all the shitty comments she makes constantly and I think she's single handedly pushing my kid into hating school.  We'll see where the day takes me.  

Bye-week for my college football team, but my NFL team had a kick ass game yesterday.  Like, at one point I got so excited that I yelled and jumped up and down.  But come on, dude dropped the ball right outside of their end zone and a player from our team scooped it up and just kinda...walked it in.  

Yall watching The Haunting of Hill House or whatever it's called on Netflix?  So good.  We're plowing through it on the weekends, but can't watch during the week.  The episode we watched last night just made me sad.  Then I couldn't stop thinking about finding out who the crooked neck lady was and it freaked me out when I was trying to get into bed at 12:30 last night in the dark.  

Helicopters are flying low today.  It's so rare to hear them here, so I notice them.  At Carson they practiced a loop right over our house in the back so I got so used to them that I wouldn't even hear them.  I'm that way here with artillary and gun ranges.  I always kinda laugh to myself here.  There could literally be someone shooting people here and most people wouldn't even be concerned from a distance.  "Oh, it's just the range!".  Ok, I don't really LAUGH, gun violence is bad, but living on an Army base is an interesting experience.

I finally got a new cord for my computer so I'm back to using it.  Thank goodness, David's computer is really small and slick and I feel like I'm going to break it when I use it.
