after classes i left for my appointment with our family doctor. since i lived most of last year in florida and wasn't in school, i was taken off my parent's insurance. that sucked. but as of this january, i've been added back on since moving back home and going to school. well, anyway, i told him about this weird rash on one of my toes and how it was irritating me and it would swell and how it's been there for weeks. yeah. um. apparently i have a staph infection. GREAT. awesome. not to mention DISGUSTING and humiliating. a staph infection. fucking sick. he tells me to take some antibiotics and soak my foot in warm water with laundry detergent. what a fabulous diagnosis.
then i mentioned i wanted to be put back on birth control. i've been off for a little over two years. he tells me i need to get my cervix checked first. speaking of which, i need to get my blood tested to check for HIV and whatever else they can read in blood samples. while in florida, i had a few "unsafe" sexual relations. and now i'm nervous.
but on a much lighter note!
today is the thirty day mark! exactly one month from today i will be in the arms of my baby in arizona. :]] it's all i can think about.
annnnnnnnnnnnnd tonight tiffany wants to go out to this club for brittany's birthday. but of course i'll say yes because i can't think of a decent excuse without making her throw a fit. come to think of it, i haven't been dancing in such a long time. who knows. maybe it'll be fun?

My friend had a staph infection in her ear She said it was so painful. yiiikkes. Hopefully the antibiotics help!

30 days isn't too long at all that's exciting. How long will you be there for? (I've been in a few long distance relationships )

Staph infection sounds really ew, but it's actually astoundingly prevalent these days. I work in a hospital and I have a co-worker who recently had it (although hers was on her hip and was actually very ew and had to be lanced and left wide open for like a week..) and she got it from her husband who contracted it showering at the gym. I see that diagnosis quite often these days.
