I hate fire alarms
sooo last night was interesting...I finally got tired at around 11:45 and was attempting to sleep, with little luck. Just as I was FINALLY asleep, the fire alarm goes off. So, I had to get up, hunt for my slippers and coat and keys, then drag my ass outside in the 15 degree weather and wait. We got yelled at by the RAs about how we were supposed to cross the street....yea right, there is a good several inches of snow and slush, and most of us have on slippers as thick as a sweatshirt. Finally we were able to come back in, so I went back to bed and had trouble sleeping again. So I turned on the TV and watched some House, then was able to fall asleep at around 1:30 AM. Then, the fire alarm went off again...so did the same thing, had to go outside, and got yelled at some more and crossed the fucking street. we had to wait about 20 minutes, most of us with just a blanket to keep warm, then we were allowed back in, after more yelling. Came back to the room, layed down, and the alarm goes off...AGAIN at around 2! false alarm this time, didnt even leave the building it was so short. layed down to sleep, alarm goes off a FOURTH TIME at around 3. went out, another false alarm so we didnt have to go outside again. After a bunch of grumbling amonst my dormmates, we went to bed at about 3:10 AM. I crawled my butt back in bed, then my phone buzzes at 3:20 or so. It's a text message from my ex, needing to talk. Giving up on the fact that I'm going to sleep, I ask him what was up and he called me and talked about how his other ex is giving everyone shit about how he's a horrible person (long story I really don't want to go into). Anyways, after talking with him about the problem, came up with a possible solution, and we talked and caught up for about an hour and a half. As nice as it was that we are FINALLY friends after being broken up for 4 years, I really wanted sleep. Finally we both were crashing at around 5, so we hung up and went to bed. Finally...
Then I woke up at 10:30, for no reason other than my body said it had to pee...so tired, may take a cat nap later on. Got some errand to run, might as well get things done.
