You say I’m crazy...

Ink never lies

10/06/2018

Finally some time on the laptop, Steve is trying so hard to accomodate us iphone users but for right now Bloop is still easier on the laptop.

About me;

I was OG Bloop I think 2002. I met many of my lifelong friends here quickly, we wern't in any bloop group per say, but seemed to be of the same age range which was older than the going bloop age of teens. We related to each other, some of us wrote detailed entries of our daily lives, some wrote out secrets here, I only wrote poetry. That's it, poetry. Yet somehow through my prose and comments to them they got to know me. WELL. I loved that so much. An entire group of people outside of real life who knew me better then my real life friends and family. How priceless.

We all moved on to Facebook but it was so different, there is no sharing poetry on FB or long detailed entries of daily life and definatley not secrets. FB is more short updates on something major that happened, pics and sadly...opinions.

I was divorced and acutally made it a life event on fb before I ever wrote about it, as a matter of fact I did not write about it on fb. The same thing with my remarriage. I changed my name and posted pics. Many were very surprised I remarried. BECAUSE ON FB NO ONE KNOWS MUCH ABOUT THE REAL YOU. Truth.

My bloop friends and I made a group messenger which was great for awhile, but life happens and that went away...We could never recapture the feeling that bloop gave us. That share everything and know you won't be judged feeling.

I am thrilled to be back on Bloop.

There is a freedom here I can't find anywhere else.

I always felt Bloop was my real life if that makes sense...probably becuase I shared my real life here.

It feels great to take the mask off.

The tough skin you live in
Fountain pens of split identities
Who Are You?

He sinks words like no other
Poisoned ink piercing every rhyme
You match him word for word

You have a desire to write to him all day,
Breathing and beating
Toxic lines, from which ink flows

Inhaling images from the past world
Deep and cold sorrowed emotions
True love is always easy to poetize

Dear Poet:  "Ink Never Lies."

Btw, chat isn't around yet. But I'll probably add it back soon.

Bloop was definitely the place to share the real things. It's too bad we can't share those things IRL. But to be honest, bloop felt as real as anything else because the connections we made were very real, even though it was over the computer.

Ryc: sometimes. But I don’t really let that bug me. I don’t love him like that anymore. So it works out.

I feel the same way. I have friends from here that I have kept in touch with on FB, but it isn't the same at all. I hear about the things going on in their lives, I share what's going on in mine, but it isn't the same kind of sharing.

Here, we let out the deep thoughts. All the layers of emotions that go along with our experiences. Here, we can reveal ourselves as the complicated creatures we are. I'd forgotten how cathartic it could be.

Agreed!!! Ryc:
I'll add you back. I feel as if I am always fighting for people to not see my disability. Honestly, this is the only "controlling" things that hubbs has ever done to me. He's a unicorn and is patient with me. I honestly don't know why he would ever think to do this. Though, come to think of it, his mother asked him and he agreed. If we had our own(which I think is dumb that she pays), this wouldn't have happened

It's good to have a place to come back to.
I'll write soon.

If you ever want to fully tell the story of getting remarried, I’d love to hear it.

I wasn’t remotely surprised you did, though...
