Hello Bloop

10/16/2010

Long time no update so....

Notables:-

1 very fun Hen Night (not mine) followed by the Hen's wonderful wedding a few weeks later.
All my University friends are gradually getting married and doing the family thing too.

The handbag obsession is still as strong as ever. Currently on the "Want" list is a purple coloured 'Cleo' tote by Misha Barton.
(The girl might talk some nonsense about why she ended up on a 3 day psych ward hold, but she DOES design nice bags ).
Furthermore, I would like to walk into a department store and simply hand over the cash to buy it rather than trawling through Ebay listings and other online websites to find the cheapest deal for a brand new one.

I've recently discovered the Scrabble game on Facebook and it's quite addictive even if it does seem to operate on flexible rules and with an addidtional slang dictionary. Yes it would be good to play the traditional board game but there's no-one here to play it with me.

Am still looking for a job. Making applications where possible but there's still an "experience" barrier to break through.

The two pet bunnies (Ebony and Guy) are healthy fabulous rabbits and I'm keeping a close check on them to ensure they don't get cold as the weather in SE England becomes chilly.

So many books available to read, but I have to be in the right mood.

Trashy magazines still have their place for sure. The vast back collection WILL be read. I still have this little personal challenge going on where I look at the contents of the new mags each week and try to buy as few as possible. The plethora of reality TV "stars" and popularity/publicity chasing former glamour models/WAGS that feature in the gossip magazines makes that challenge more simple

While I'm on the gossip theme: What's going on with the lack of Hollywood gossip diaries on Bloop? Have the former updaters' discovered there's more to life or something? I need some vicarious drama in my quiet life, lol.

I'm 32 in a month and there's lots of life stuff I haven't done yet.

One of my more enjoyable personal projects will be Christmas shopping started in plenty of time. Finished in plenty of time? Maybe not.

I weigh 148lbs at 6ft 2" and am satisfied with that. A lower weight would be more satisfying but extreme restriction is not my thing. It would get fast but only temporary results when I need energy to get me through my day, walk wherever I need to get to and a stable weight is preferrable.

In TKMaxx this morning, Bro' made me buy a pair of French Connection UK jeans for £23, emphasising how nice they were and the likely good fit. They do look nice (colour and stitching details) so I'll try them on tomorrow and see.

Another uni friend has her 30th Birthday party at the end of November and I could do with a new dress for it. I looked at some today and commented "They would make my hips look big". Bro proceeded to give me a lecture about my supposed unrealistic perceptions of my body's shape, begining with "You've got that body dismorphic sh1t....".

Am impatient for 'Smallville' season 9 to be released on DVD. 'Gossip Girl' 3 has got to be watched again because I rushed through viewing the season wanting to know what happened but won't have appreciated all the details.

Oh and I am obsessed with Aussie soap 'Neighbours' this week, actually spending time thinking about the 'Who pushed PR?' storyline and what it will be like whne some characters leave the show. That fits into the 'Frivilous but Fun' section of my brain (along with handbags ect.).
