Nikky just asked me a good question... are we the only turtle owners on bloop.
That I know of, I think we may be... but aren't really sure.

Does anyone else own turtles?
I have 2 Macquarie Short Neck Turtles... they are Australian Freshwater Turtles and the are approximately 18 months old.

This is Franklin:

And this is Teddy:

I know that nearly every second person has a cat or a dog... but how many reptile owners do we have???

LOL. I don't have turtles, but I have two duckes names Franklin and Theodora (who used to be Theodore before we realized it was she, and when we thought she was a he, we called him Teddy;-D).

This is quite an old picture, shes about 40cm long at the minute. Right lets see if I can get this to work first time, very unlikely.

xD If you had said what kind she was, I'd be going, "red on black, venom lack.... OK NOT POISONOUS!!!" XD I don't even know the rest of the rhyme. XD

But she's so pretty! How big is she?

The one bad thing about milk snakes is until they are tame when you pick them up they poo on you! She doesn't poo on my anymore but if anyone else picks her up she does.

Yeah! It's like bird poo too, its weird as she doesn't have a bum hole like us, she has this little flap that comes out so you see it and think, oh no shes going to spray shit on me!

Aw man Genes you showed yours now I have to show mine. XD

Bill and Ron, the babies. :D

Ron whining for food.

Lovely George. :D

Fred, whom I'm now pretty sure is a girl. XD

I gotta take the big boys out for some sun but I don't know if I'm going to get them to sit still long enough for me to take some nice pics. How the hell did you get them to stand still long enough Genes? XD Once mine figure out they're safe they're off and running! XD

Nikky - send me a clear pic of Ron, of the top part of his shell and underneath. I will ask around with some reptile and turtle experts who were helping me with the sick turtle I had and see if they have any idea.

Ah thanks Genes! I'll take him out later today for a photoshoot. XD His plastron is yellow, no markings and his shell is all black w/ 1 reddish orange stripe right on top of his carapace.

Then your Teddy is like my Fred, never stops. XD George might sit for a few pictures, although he still likes to wander, just more cautiously. XD

Yours have such cool colourings! Mine have an ugly brown carapace and an all cream (rather boring) plastron!!! Lucky you!
Yeah Franklin is so slow and cruisy heheh... wanted to climb in my lap rather than explore for bugs and stuff.

Yeah the girl told me what he was but she said it really fast and I was distracted by Bill and Ron cuteness. xD

I love yours though! Their faces are so cute!! :D Franklin w/ it's ickle nose!!! XD I wish we could have a turtle play date.

OK I'M REALLY GOING TO BED NOW!! GAH! XD

Franklin likes to stick around where you are, so he was easy! Teddy is a bitch though and takes off. Didn't get as many of her... I took them one at a time... and have a very quick shutter speed :P

I have a green iguana named chomper. I just figured out she was a HE earlier this year while HE was in heat... a picture of him is below. He is about 8 pounds and 4 feet long and about 6-7 years old. He has gotten bigger since Halloween which was when this was taken.
