how realistic does a baby DOLL really need to be

I appreciate the promotion of breastfeeding and disagree with all the "eww...creepy" comments floating around on the web over this doll, but I wouldn't necessarily buy it myself. As many breastfed children do, my son will nurse anything, he doesn't need a special doll for it. An open-ended doll does far more to encourage imagination than a use-specific one (pottying dolls, "eating" dolls, etc). I'm also not fond of the shirt it comes with - I wouldn't want my little girl wearing it, anyway. But yes, it is nice to see breastfeeding promoted, at any rate.

The statement about a breastfeeding doll promoting teenage pregnancy is just ridiculous. I mean, seriously??
