Just curious as to how many people on here use Linux over windows (or both). If so, which distro etc etc?

One of my friends uses Linux, but also keeps her Windows option around for programs that are not supported by Linux. She says she likes the look of the program and what not, but I have no experience with Linux at all

Yeah, I'm fairly new to it as well. My friend convinced me to try it less than 6 months ago, and I fell in love with it right away. I only keep Windows around to run World of Warcraft, but everything else is strictly Linux. I havent even been on Windows since... Before Thanksgiving lol

World of Warcraft, eh? My boyfriend has been playing that for years and I gave it a try last summer. I enjoyed it, but I fell in love with Lord of the Rings Online and started playing that instead. If it wasn't for the monthly fees, I would be playing both :(

Did you get the subscription to LOTR that has the one time fee? Or are you paying monthly? I'm not sure if they even still offer the one time fee, but they did when it first came out, and then brought it back by 'popular demand' for a while... I'm not big into games myself, but my boyfriend has a lot of MMOs, and he got me hooked on WoW too lol
