I know "we're" (bloop) not all Americans - but I have noticed on FB lately a post going around re: cards for wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Hospital...
Just incase anyone gets sucked in. Walter Reed on Georgia Ave in DC no longer exists. Secondly you can no longer send mail addressed to "any soldier" or "wounded warrior" for various reasons among them security issues. However.. If you would like to send greeting cards to military members and do not have any connections to give you names - May I suggest a few options. Call the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Chapel (Main: (301) 295-1510 DSN: 295-1510) as you will need to address it to a specific patien If it's simply a Vet you want to send a card to - I can help with that.. Also don't forget about the Gold Star Families.... I can help pass on greetings and small gifts thru T*A*P*S |
