My friend had to get some ginger pops to help her. They offer them at maternity stores or maybe even at the grocery store if you can find them.

I thought North Americans don't drink herbal tea when preggers. Because of the fact that it hasn't gone through rigorous testing to ensure that pregger pplz can safely drink it.

Some won't. But then there are others, such as myself, who are more into the herbal medications and take the words of a Naturopathic Dr who knows and understands herbal remedies over an allopathic Dr who knows nothing about herbs.

@puck I've never heard that one before! Herbal supplements I can possibly understand, but not so much herbal teas...

LEMONS! I searched online for remedies when I was in my first trimester. Lemons are amazing. Eating them straight works the best or add them to water. I found ginger tea works well too. Mother's Wellness tea for morning sickness was my second best friend. Also, keep the lemons around so when you feel queasy you can smell them.

I'm sure they can be bought in America, but I think they call them something else.

Crystallized ginger! I'm not pregnant but I frequently have random bouts of nausea and easily get motion sickness so I always have some on-hand :)
