a) for a haircut
Nothing right now. I haven't gotten mine cut in nearly a year. Last time it was cut on Thanksgiving and my mom cut it for me since I just needed a trim. b) for your weekly groceries This varies but I would say about $100 a week. c) for your monthly rent $505 for a one bedroom, water and cable is included. d) for monthly gym membership (if applicable) I work out w/ a friend who has a membership (she pays $20 a month) and it's free for me. Even if I didn't go w/ her there's an amazing gym on campus (it's huge) that I can use for free as well. e) for your monthly gas and electricity Power is about... $130. It's been so hot this summer that our power bill has been insane. >.< f) for your monthly water rates Nothing. :) It's included w/ the rent. g) gas My car I can get a little over a week for $20 bucks worth of gas. Everything is rly close to my apt so I don't ever have to drive far. My bf however, drives a gas guzzling truck and works 20miles away for work. He easily puts about $80 into his a week. @Just Samma random question: how do you keep your dreads clean? I always see them around and some guys look (b/c I haven't rly seen them on women around here) so hot in them and they look clean and well kept whereas others... I want them to stand at least 15ft. away from me. xD

The biggest misconception is that people don't wash dreads.
totally not true for 99% of the dread head population. My dreads are two years old & i wash them once a week-ish unless i notice they need it more. In the summer it was on average twice a week. Dreads don't like "commercial" shampoo. so nothing with added conditioner type things. some people even use dish soap. I had been washing my hair with Lush shampoo bars for about a year before i did my dreads so the only thing i had to change was breaking my habit of washing everyday. The less you wash, the less oil your scalp produces so if you do it gradually you can wash less often and not have greasy, nasty hair. Now every time i color my dreads or every 90 days, whichever comes sooner i deep clean them using a VERY hot water soak with baking soda, vinegar, salt & lemon juice then i'll use a harsh soap like dawn & rinse like crazy. Also, if i notice my scalp is itchy or such i just do a dry baking soda scrub with a apple cider vinegar rinse to level everything out. |

@samma ahhh that's cool! :) It's not something I'd ever do but there is this guy on campus who's rly fucking hot and his dreads are what make him hot so I thought I'd ask b/c I'd for sure not wanna ask a random stranger on the street something like that. XD Seems a bit easier on bloop. xD
