Sometimes sterilization is necessary in some cases. People who have sex with their own kids, sexually molest family members, or rape DO need to be sterilized! They lost their privilege to ever have the right to have children. Also, treatment doesn't always work. They still have those thoughts and could relapse. Relapsing on drugs or alcohol only harms them, relapsing on the urge of having sex with minors or family affects the victims.
