So someone left a comment on my diary threatening my 2 year old son, Steve got me there IP adress now I need to find out how to track it. Any ideas?

My nephew's been threatened by his step-dad way too many times for me to even take threats against children mildly. That is severely fucked up, and if you know this person IRL, I'd say find a baseball bat and go make him/her acquainted to the end of it.

That sounds like the cops here. A friend and I years ago were threatened by his neighbor waving a gun around saying "I'm going to shoot you, you motherfuckers!" We called 911, they said they couldn't do anything unless they actually shot at us...cops suck dick.

Just tried to send you a PM...but it said I couldnt for whatever reason, and it was pretty long, BUT, the just of it was - make a police report at your local station, bring the comment with you etc. That way if anything ever does happen, it's already on record. Secondly, use this site (http://cqcounter.com/whois/) and put in their IP...it will give you not only their ISP, but their country and city where they are. The only way this could be "wrong" is if they were using an IP hider, which they probably weren't smart enough, but you never know. If you still dont get anywhere with the police etc, then I suggest calling the ISP which that site will tell you who it is, and give them the IP and let them know they're using their service to threaten your son, and harrass you etc. For now, I'd block their IP.

It sucks the things that the police wont do untill something happens and its too late. I am going to the police station tomorrow with the IP adress and the approximate location that I found, that is if I dont go there first and talk to whoever this little girls parents are.
