So... what colour are your socks? Do they all tend to be one colour, or is there a variety? Is there a sock colour you prefer? Are there colours you'd never wear?

(I am curious because I generally wear black socks, and I one day got told by some guy that girls aren't supposed to wear black socks! So I am curious whether this is a common opinion, or just peculiar to this one guy!)

I like patterned socks. I genuinely get excited about patterned socks and ones with pictures on them. I have tons of Winnie the Pooh ones as well, for some bizarre reason!

I have one pair of black socks, two brown pairs, a pair of pink-plaid knee-highs and brown knee highs.
Six pairs of toe socks: four are black, with princess crowns, stars, chili peppers and multi-colored toes, respectively. One pair is red with pink toes and says 'YAY SANTA!' and the other is blue with sparkles.
And then eleventy-seven pairs of white socks. About half of them are just plain white. The other half have pink heels and toes on them or gray heels and toes.

I love white socks, nothing beats them in my eyes.
I strongly dislike black socks, because every pair I've had has left little fuzzies on my feet. And I don't like them at all.

I should add that my toe socks are also knee-high toe socks ;D

My socks all have designs on them, I only own a few plain black pairs. They get mixed up with Chris's then he wears them and stretches them or he puts them with Oscar's and then I don't see them till I find them, usually on Oscar's feet by that point!

I would never wear black or navy socks because that is mostly what I see older people wearing. I try to keep mine simple, white & pink. But sometimes I'll wear some striped ones or something. But I try to wear white ones most of the time.

Oh yea & mine HAVE to be no-shows too. I can't stand for my socks to show.

I've never ever owned a black pair of socks! I have all sorts of colours and patterns though other than black. XD

white ankle socks, its one of my pet peeves to show socks, thats just me, or seeing ppl wearing socks that are white tube socks, some are cute the colorful ones, but it just bugs me esp if i wear shorts i do not want my socks to show. i think some socks are cute the colorful picture ones are good if you wear an outfit and it meant to be shown but i cannot do it lol thats why i prefer my pants to be a lil long thank god for being short, so my shoes dont really show like the tongue of it... i cannot allow it... if i see it i immedatly cover it lol

As long as they're no-shows, I'll wear any color. :] I wear black socks all the time, too.

For work, I have to wear black, but other than that, mostly white. Although I do have some bright green, pink, yellow, blue, and purple ones. I usually just wear those around the house, though.

I have black or blue, or some combination of the two, usually. That goes with all of my clothing. There is only one exception to the colour rule: toesocks. I try to get those in blue or black, but since the only ones I find in town are getting increasingly girly every year, I've had every colour except yellow. (Yes, even pink *gasp*)

I wear no shows, plain white socks. Some of my socks have pink or gray toes and heels. I also got some champion socks from costco a while ago and they have colors lines on them and say champion on them lol.

my fave 3 pairs of socks I have are argyle(sp?) prints.. I wear nothing but ankle highs through, so you never really see them. The uglier the print, the more I tend to like em..lol

I really don't have that many socks because...I don't wear socks. Like I said in the other thread - I only wear socks to the gym with my running shoes...I bought a pack of 5...they are all white - with a pink sole. I do have one pair that one of my friends got me, they are black with pink and silver hearts on them. I love them - but I never have the chance to wear them.

Otherwise it's my boots with my footed tights in the winter..or my havianas in the summer.

I have a bunch of different socks-black ones, striped neons, plaid neons and white.
My socks usually never match though. I just grab two from the drawer and call it a day. (:

i have mostly white.. i wanna get a bunch of crazy colors/patterns b.c im annoyed with my husband using my socks! i obviously cant use his b.c they're big. =(
