hehehe. actually, they are rats. one is a hairless rat. and i totally get so excited! mice aren't as cool as rats. rats are extremely personable and they are so so sososososos smart! i love them. they come when i call their names and when i click my tongue. they love to give kisses and rats can actually "laugh" when you tickle them. :D

My mom was afraid of reptiles, too. Still is. She only let me have turtles when I was younger because she was under the impression that they moved slowly. XD She absolutely loves my bearded dragon, though. She called him cute...she has never said that about any reptile before. :D

I have no reptiles, sadly, but I do have other animals of which I can post pictures!
(I do want some red eared slider turtles and my husband wants either a bearded dragon or an iguana, but we have to wait..we have too many pets now)

Our two pekin ducks - Theodore & Franklin

Our wire-haired miniature dachshund, Sir Charles (Charlie)

Our short-haired black and tan dachshund, Sampson (Sammy)

Our domestic short-haired cat-that-sits-like-human, Minnie

Our blue dutch rabbit, King Leonidas (Leo)

This isn't all of them - we have 10 horses: Rain, Oakey, Unnamed Colt (lol), Stubby, Kiowa, Weezer, Belle, Elvis, Charlie Horse (harhar), and Cheyenne.

Our bassett hound Roscoe

Our bassett hound Enos

I used to have green anoles, fire bellied toads, and a fire bellied newt when I was a kid. Now, the only things I have are farm animals, a dog, two cats, and two ferrets.

Faline (the white one) and Coco when they were little doelings.

Spike our dog.

Ping (tortoiseshell) and Toby (torbie)

Grr

Poppet

Our muscovy ducks: The one w/ black chest & gray body - Baby, one that is black/white w/ mostly white - Princess, black/white one - Houdini, and the chocolate one - Barr.

Elvis, our muscovy duck drake.

We also had chickens (just sold all of them) and have several rabbits but I'm not going to post them all up here because they're going to clog up the page. :)

Yay ducks! I love to see other people who have ducks. I love goats as well.. my husband won't let me have any, though, until we get our house built and need the land cleared off :P.

Goats are very good at clearing land. They will eat blackberry bushes and even trees. We had tons of blackberry bushes on our property and only two small goats cleared out most of it in a month or two. Goats are best for clearing brush and sheep are best for grazing.

How big are the Pekin ducks? Our Muscovy drake is the size of a cocker spaniel. My friend came over once and said, "I didn't know you had a goose!" (Mistaking Elvis for a goose. ;-D)

Indeed, Josh's co-worker has a chicken and goat farm and I just LOVE the little goats... they're as gentle as dogs!

Our ducks are quite large... although I think they're more fat than anything :P. This is the last picture I can find of me holding one, but this was ages ago and they're about 2x that size now, lol.

Awwww cute! I wish our ducks let us hold them like that! They definitely don't appreciate being held - they weren't handled as ducklings and were already adults when we got them. We got our muscovies strictly for slug and mosquito control but then fell in love with them when we realized they were like dogs (very personable, wagging their tails, etc. Just don't like being picked up but will eat from your hand) We have two females sitting on clutches of eggs right now. :)
