That is so cool!
How large is it, comparatively speaking? It looks rather small. Are those marbles at the bottom of the thing?

*I* have a Miniature Schnauzer, Izzie, and our daughter has a cat we adopted for her birthday, Jasmine. My HUSBAND has a ferret, Zoe, a Lab/Austrailian Shephard, Harley, and fish and frogs in the fish tank. BUT, who gets to take care of all of the animals?? ME, SO, when he decided he wanted a lizard, and he decided he wanted a mouse/rat/gerbil, um NOPE!
I really love the pictures of the reptiles, and I used to have an iguana, but they're lots of work, and I doubt that my cat would enjoy them (or she'd enjoy them a little too much!).

I beg to differ. At least about bearded dragons. There's a reason why pet stores call them a great starter lizard. They're extremely social - not nearly as instinctual as a lot of other reptiles. Mellow and easygoing. Mine can get really finicky with his food, so I have to switch it up every once in a while, but that's about it.

He gets a bath every morning, stays in his enclosure while I'm at work, and comes out when I come back (and I know he's gotten his fill of UV and basking for the day). He even sleeps in a little pet tent in my bed. Honestly, the hardest part is keeping the apartment clean enough so that when he's wandering around, he won't get his mouth around anything that could kill him.

You beg to differ about what? The work? Yeah, I have a 4 year old and lots of other animals to deal with. THAT'S why it would be too much work to deal with ANOTHER animal.

No need to get defensive. What you typed was merely interpreted as meaning that reptiles were a lot of work on their own, not in combination with other factors like children and multiple pets.

Oh, no I wasn't defensive, I just know if I allow my husband to get a reptile, lol, he WON'T take care of it, lol.
I had the iguana in High School, and the food was what took so much work... that combined with making sure the cage is clean, and such... with the other animals and my kiddo, yeah... he's not getting another animal!
