I don't think that is the scene that is the big problem... I'd be more concerned about children seeing her in labour and the birth of the demon child who is killing her from the inside out!

In fact there's a lot of violence in Breaking Dawn if I remember rightly... I can't see how they can possibly make it without it being at least a certificate 15 in the UK, and an R in the US.

I agree that there is a significant amount of violence that could be traumatic to young kids, particularly the birth scene. I was just commenting on the actual "sex factor" as I don't see how THAT could become an issue.

well, if you think about it, there really isn't sex in the book. it's more like a fade to black type deal, just written.

I think where the confusion is coming into play is that breaking dawn has a new director and that the studio is up in the air over whether they will be aiming for the same rating they have been going with for if they will be going for an R rating to stay true to the book. Several people I am sure will be upset when they see eclipse - as it has been "dumbed down" to a degree to make it child friendly. It has already been the topic of heated complaints since several changed scenes have been leaked.
There is also the chance that due to his age they will need to replace Taylor as Jacob due to scenes he will not be able to film. Or they will have to delay filming until he is 18 or film the entire thing in Europe.

Breaking Dawn actually creeped me out and I don't like Renesmee at all. She's a creepy little shit. LOL. Having said that, I enjoyed the first 3 books all right....but I doubt I will see Breaking Dawn if they decide to make a movie out of it.

Maybe it would be better if they stopped releasing any of the movies, just for our benefit.

LMAO.. I wouldnt mind a bit if they didnt continue to make/release the movies. I'm not a fan at all. I watch them when they come out, once, and thats about it. Some people get straight up ignorant over it.. and the thought of the uproar it would cause if they truely didnt relase the next one made me giggle a bit inside.

i think people are acting ridiculous over it too.. all the "i love vampires" and "i love werewolves" and "forks high school!" stuff in walmart drives me insane. i loved the books. the movies are mediocre. people are making way to big of a deal out of it.

Its a good movie, but she was in it and I hate her because of that movie. It was the first one I have ever watched that she is in other then twilight.

I looked up her movie history. It was In the Land of Women. I love LOVE that movie. But I hate her in it. I really do.
