I haven't written here in a long time, mostly because I had nothing to say that I hadn't already said.
Finally there is some good news.
A little background: I am 28 years old and have been in bands since I was 15. Ranging from punk to metal, I played bass and I was a front man. That whole time I wanted nothing more than to tour and play music for a living, a measly living, but a living nonetheless.
Needless to say it never worked out even though I came close a couple times. Money was never right or the band would break up.
Anyway, fast forward to about two years ago, I started producing EDM, Electronica, dubstep and Trance music. It opened up my creativity not having other people around me to tell me what I should or shouldn't do.. No one to hold me back but me.
Long story short, me and a good friend of mine (not involved with the music) decided to buy an RV, turn it into a mobile studio and tour the country. So in a little more than a month I will finally be touring and playing music. For 12 months.. I don't know where the money will come from to sustain an entire year on the road but I don't care. I have a few shows lined up in Fort Collins Colorado so I know I'll make some money there. I lived there for a few months and it seems like the EDM Mecca so I'm really excited to go back and play there.
I know I'm in for a wild ride... And I can't wait.
