Woke up this morning at 6am, still hacking and congested but with a 100.3 fever to go along with it. Took my cough/cold medication and went back to sleep until 9am, my temperature was 100.5 at that time so I decided I should get dressed and go to the Walk-In Clinic and get checked out.
The place was packed so after a 2 hour wait I received an exam and a flu test (it came back negative) and I left with a diagnosis of a chest cold that was turning into a bacterial infection. I had already self-diagnosed myself so that was no surprise. I picked up lunch and got my prescription filled on the way home, ate, drank a bottle of water, took my meds, and went to bed where I slept for three hours. I'm not sure how long I'll remain awake and alert but I suppose I'll make the best of it.
Now, time for more meds... |
