I was hit by a full-blown winter cold yesterday, just out of the blue. I can usually feel them coming on for a few days before they hit and try to rest more and fight them off naturally but my immune system must be weaker right now because this one just hit with no warning. I started coughing at work, with a tickly throat and by the time I got home I felt horrible. I took some 12 hour cough medicine last night at 7:15 and again this morning but it’s about worn off now. I’m coughing, feel stuffy, have a headache, and just want to go home and sleep. At least I had nothing planned for this weekend, I can try to rest it off. |
