April 26th, 2019

04/26/2019

It has been almost a month since I have written anything on here.  Tons of things have happened at work, but I don't enjoy dwelling on it too much. I get riled up for no reason and that isn't very productive. Needless to say, the person who has been causing stress is on stress leave for two months (even though she isn't stressed out). One of the Assistant Managers is leaving soon. I applied for the position and had an interview with the Associate (Owner) today. I think it went well. We'll see. Ultimately, she has to do what is right and best for the stores needs. If that's not me, then so be it.

I just finished reading Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan. If you're not sure who that author is, he's the same guy who wrote Crazy Rich Asians, and China Rich Girlfriend. It was a great trilogy; I suggest it to anyone looking for something new to read.  I'm also reading Artemis by Andy Weir. He wrote The Martian, which was adapted into a movie Matt Damon starred in. The Martian was a fabulous read and Artemis is turning out to be as well. I'm barely into it but it's keeping my attention.

We just watched Glass last night. It was pretty good, although I'm glad we watched Split last week as it has references to it. Obviously it has references to Unbreakable as well and I kind of want to watch that again as well. I'm pretty sure Netflix doesn't have Unbreakable. Such is life.

Kaitlin and I are going to watch Endgame in the next week or so when the hype has calmed down a bit. I'm pumped because I have free tickets from when I was at work going the extra mile. I've got so many free movie tickets. #win

Kaitlin and I are going to Niagara Falls in June and I'm pretty excited about it. We're going to do some hiking as well as actually just being tourists. We don't usually end up being tourists in the places we go to. We usually avoid all the stereotypical tourist things and just go do off the wall activities. We'll see how it goes. I'm excited.

My brother is getting married in September. It's creeping up on us. Leah seems more excited than he does. Reya is really looking a lot like all the people on my side of the family. So is River. It's kind of hilarious.
