Today we are off to Richmond as soon as the kids get on the bus. We have to go get jeff's birth certificate. It's a fucked up mess really. He can't get his license unsuspended without it. We tried sending off for it like most people do. They returned his request because the photocopy of his suspended license was not good. It won't get better either because the picture is all scratchy and shit from jeff's wallet. We went to get just an id from the dmv and you can't get one of those without a birth certificate as well. so it's basically a circle of idiocy. so we are going to the place itself so he can just show him his license and hopefully they will realize what's up. it's 2 hours and 20 minutes away according to map quest and 140 miles. ugh, i have to drive it as well. we didn't think our car could make it which is why we didn't go last week. more or less the tires were the main reason, they are shitty. my friend Kelley was like you can borrow my car. so we are and we will be off within the hour. i have to take my sister's work papers and drop them off for her so that she can get paid. she can't get out to town and they have to be there by 9 am. she missed it last week so she didn't get paid last week. it's really out of the way but i feel bad. it's not like a normal payroll where you work and they hand you a check at the end of the week. so yeah, that's our first stop. wish us luck. i'll update later on the status.
