Playing Chess!

01/01/2009

I've recently gotten back into the chess scene with my recent understanding of openings. Here's a game I just played online recently. I attempted commentating it, since I like the way the system handles comments. They don't come in until the endgame, though.

PS: By "understanding of openings" I do not mean memorization. I don't know ONE opening by heart other than blitzkrieg (aka Fool's Mate), so I doubt this opening classifies as much. I play by the three principles of opening: Control the center, develop quickly, and protect the king (castle).

If you wanna play me, you can direct challenge "Qae" on chess.com or send a Wave with the Chess gadget to my Google Wave account, hymanator93@googlewave.com.

You guys seriously played Blitzkrieg Chess. Was this timed?

Blitzkrieg?

It kind of was. We had a clock set to 30min for the full game, which basically means it wasn't timed. I've never played a live online chess game that lasted longer than 20min.
