Does it really matter that he's 20? Does it matter to him that you're 16? (Are you the legal age for anal sex between two men in your area?) I'd say you're probably more intelligent and mature than the average 16 year old so you'd probably be bored by someone your own age anyway.

I am also confused why the age difference matters. It's actually quite a small age difference compared to a lot of couples, especially gay couples. Like, you can chastise me for making a naughty stereotype, but it always seems to me that gay couples are less concerned about age differences than straight ones (as a huge generalisation, of course) and I observe bigger age differences in gay couples than straight ones. Maybe it's because gay people are already used to not fitting into the 'norm' of man-wife-2.4 children type thing, so are less concerned with societal norms about age. I'm guessing for you, though, there is the whole legal aspect. Like, if you have sex with a 20-year-old, that is statutory rape on his part.
