because OBVIOUSLY one single day makes an entire difference in the legality of a plethora of miscellaneous things in my life

i can now consent to sex and buy cigarettes and drive between midnight and 4am with lots of minors in the car and all sorts of IMPORTANT THINGS

Happy adulthood day! Gosh, back in the day, you'd have been all set to go for legal sex with a woman, but still too young to consent to sex with a man! It used to be 18 for heterosexual sex and 21 for gay sex, until people started pointing out the double standards there!
