Likes

Much like Facebook, likes work the same way. You can like an entry, a comment, and posts/replies in the Forums. You can click and see who liked the entry, comment, forum post or forum reply. Here is how it works.

Likes on Entries

On an entry, just above the comment area box, you have several links to choose from. Here is what it looks like:

Let's start on the right hand side first. You have Like, Readers Choice, and Add Comment. To like the entry you just click like button and it becomes "Unlike". On the left side the 0 likes becomes 1 like or 2 likes depending on if there were likes beforehand.

Now if you want to see who liked your entry, you can click the 1 Like on the left and a list comes up:

Click the X in the top right to close the box.

Likes in Comments

You can also like comments! At the end of the comment, You will see the name of the diarist, likes, and then like/reply

To like the comment click "Like" next to "reply" and the 0 next to "0 Likes" turns into "1 Like" and the "Like" turns into "Unlike". You can click the "1 Like" link for a list of who liked the comment. To unlike the comment, click "unlike" and the "1 Like" goes back to "0 Likes" and the "Unlike" goes back to "Like".

Likes in Forum Posts and Forum Replies

When you open a post in a Forum, on the top you'll find the icon profile and name of the diarist who made the post on the left and on the right side you have "# of Likes, Like, and Reply". The concept is the same here as on entries and comments. Simply click "Like" and the link turns into "Unlike" and the "0" turns to "1". Click "Unlike" and it changes the "1" back to "0" and "unlike" back to "like"

Forum replies work the same exact way.
