I was having my coffee while doing my work when I realized a young woman looking at me. But I got really uncomfortable when she just would not stop looking at me. Then she decided to talk to me and told me that I look like her boyfriend that she's lost. At that point, I am quite certain that she's mentally ill. Then she tried to snap a picture of me on her phone. At that point, I got REALLY uncomfortable and I told her to stop taking my picture and I said, "I'm sorry, but I can't help you." Thoughts that ran through my mind were, "Do I get up and leave? But she will most likely follow me. Do I call the cops?" I kept doing my work and ignoring her. She finally left. I didn't finish my coffee, just in case she slipped something in there. I think I need to get out of New York!
Not that this young woman was bad-looking, but I sensed the psychosis in this woman similar to Glen Close's character in the movie Fatal Attraction with Michael Douglas. A friend of mine jokingly told me that it's everyone young man's fantasy to have that happen to them. I responded, "They are going to end up finding a dead rabbit in a pot."
