Directory | Where I Get My Charater Names & I Also Go here Too | My Personal Diary

Holding Poe in my arms I walked over to the bay window with the bay couched seating type thing. I don’t know the proper name for them. I was big enough for someone to nap on. I sat on it and looked out of the window. The moon illuminated the different colored laves making them differenced shaded grays and shadows from the night. I was also glad to see that my room didn’t face the grave yard but it didn’t give the accept of the occasional ghost that walked in to the wooded area. I always had the ability to see ghosts or spirits ever since I was three. My brother Sade being only four years old than me so he thought I was strange and used to tease me I don’t remember what he used to tease me about but now were older and he thinks my gift is neat. The strange thing is when ever me and my brother are together were more intuitive than the average person or should I say siblings. There are times I think Sade could read others minds expressly mine. Though my brother never liked getting close to people when we were younger he said he could feel others feelings or thoughts. We used to be called Strange Weird Eastly Siblings. I used to make us angry and scared, really scared this one time because this big kids threw stones at us. They said they got it from some book about Witches and how some of them were stoned to death or burned. They did have anything to burn us with Thank god but they threw stones. I remember we when we got home how angry our father was and or mother sobbing. We didn’t know how bad we looked until we saw each other in the mirror.

As we got older we started having friends and some people started to accept us. Weard Eastly’s was in the past. Sade grew really tall and was into Basketball, Football and Baseball all though his high school career and he was also really good in the Drama department. I don’t know how he handled it all. When I got into the Sixth Grade, my brother was in the 8th and he showed me around the school. I remember I got the instant popularity and I tried out for cheerleading yes I know I was almost in to one of those clones but thank god I didn’t make the squad. It’s a good thing because I was in the writing club and that club that where you can go on cool trips but I forgot since middle school seems so far away. My Sixth grade year was the best because I got to be in the same school as Sade for just that year. I even write a play and the eight graders acted it out. It was one of the best moments and that’s what set out that rest of middle school. High School , I’m still in high school it hosted the ninth to twelfth graders in one huge three story building. Some of us has mixed classes with the upper classmen and the only thing that separated us was the locker halls. My brother was a senior then and he did look out for me and we really didn’t hang out like we did back in middle school but we had the same literature and history class because I was best in them. I remember his girlfriend then Fey she always talked to me and included my friends with her friends at lunch. It felt so great that that how things changed so much since when we were little kids to now. I remembered thinking that I belong and no matter what happens we’ll always be accept.

Now it’s been two years since my brother left for college some actors college in California that gave him the better offer than New York. I guess I should have mentioned that my family is rich super rich but we don’t use our money as power or evil things. I was crying at the airport watching my big brother lave me, leave us. I swore I saw tears in my brother’s eyes. I remember and it still feels like I’m missing my half. I sometimes wish and thought that my brother and I should have been twins it would be more fitting but nature has his odd ways. The days without him were blur in the beginning but I got closer to my parents. I made good friends but never that best friend. I sometimes had friends over for a sleep over or what not but I was never invited to other sleepovers. So I spent a lot of time with my mom and dad. We played board games and card games. We when to book stores and stayed in the café and sometimes read books to each other each taking turn. My favorite time with my parents was when Sade just left after a weekend spent with us it was fall like it is now and we went to the park with the book we’ve been reading Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire . It was mostly for my sake I think my parents didn’t appreciate or disapprove it. They said it’s not because of the subject matter but of something else they wouldn’t tell me. My mom packed us lunch of our favorite foods and my dad brought the football with us. I was skeptic at first and I really hate sports never really good at that stuff. But my dad was patent with me and he taught me how to throw it. It was the best feeling not only did I feel loved even though I sucked throwing the ball but my dad didn’t care and we had a lot of laughs. Later that night my mom and I baked cookies and we talked about boys, and what I wanted to when I graduated from high school. I’ll never forget that day.

Then, it was only a few weeks ago I was asleep in my room when I was woken by mischievous laughter and SHHes. It was Sade and his college friend Bao they tried to scare me awake but it didn’t work. My brother smiled when he saw that I was already awake. “Sonja! I thought for sure I would be able to get you this time!!” I laughed. “Nope you’ll never be able to I always know when you home or trying to sneak up on me.” I heard Bao snort, “Sade is the same way I swear the more I get to know your sister I think you two should have been twins! Its scare on how you two are alike.” This caused me and my brother to share a look and laugh. “Hurry and but some back on It’s time to do some mischief night mayhem.” The two left me to dress. I smirked almost forgetting this year Halloween fallen on a Saturday and tonight was mischief night. I met my brother and Bao down stairs. Without a word we snuck out of the house and we went in my brothers car and he had the all the things we need to cause mischief. We when to the next down over and we threw eggs on hose windows and threw toilet paper all over peoples yards and tree’s. We also used soap on cars and wrote all over them. We stayed up all night and then went to Denny’s meeting up with our parents early that morning. Then I went with my brother to one of those Halloween Stores and got a ourselves last minute customs. That night the three of us felt like kids again. We got the scariest masks that we could find. Not only did we dress up and go trick or treating with our pillow cases we also scared the little kids with our masks. It was Bao’s idea about the fake blood and everything. Then around nine we decided to go to the movies to see one of those scary movie showings. Then when we got home we watched more scary movies until three of us fell asleep on the couch.

I was waked that morning early to the smell of bacon. My mom was cooking for my brother and his friend before they caught the morning plane back to California. “Next time Sonja you’ll have to come to California for Halloween or visit some weekend.” Said Bao mouth full of eggs and bacon I smiled at him. Sade nodded in agreement “Can she mom some weekend come and visit me?” and he gave our mother his puppy dog eyes. My mom could not resist those. She just smiled “I’ll talk it over with your father now eat.” We winked at each other and stared eating. Breakfast ended to quickly and Sade had to leave I gave him a big hug as usual and waved happily to Bao as they drove off to the air port. My mom got on me that I should call Susan about our group project that’s due Wednesday and talk about how we should meet and do it. Geese my brother didn’t even leave the driveway and my mom was talking about homework already. I sighed and went up to my room to get my cell phone which I conveniently forgot about when Sade was over I opened it up and went to my notebook who had her number on it and I called her. It was then I heard our door bell and I heard my dad yell that he’ll get it. While I talked to Susan and we made a plan to meet at my house on Tuesday because Monday she had cheer practice. It was then when I hung pressed end on the cell when I felt something was wrong. It was suddenly too quiet. Something in my gut told me to be quiet and hide. I remembered then the secret craw space for when me and my brother were little It was big now but it was really small now and I had to lay flat on my stomach and slide army style in though the secret door way. I then was able to stand and I quickly slid the thick wood and it was just in good time when I heard the bang of my bedroom door open very forcefully.

“Do you see that little monster? I am sure that thing was up here.” Said a harsh female voice I could smell her harsh perfume it made me sick and tight in my chest. I could have sworn I smelled it before but I cannot place it.

“No” came a sharp male voice. “But if she did run she had gone far”

“It sickens me that brother of hers got away and his that friend of his betrayed us letting him escape!” came the female voice it was so angry and full of hate it sent chills up my spine.

“He’ll pay in death” the male voice came cool and it chilled my bone. I held my breath. And kept quite as I heard them make a mess of my room mess of my brother’s room next door and though out of the house. I was shaking all over I could hear others outside searching.

“She couldn’t have gone far if she ran on foot.” Said one of them. The other seemed cowardly, his voice stutters’ he kind of reminded me of the Harry Potter character Peter. “w-w-what b-bout Cloven h-h-h-he’s going to b-b-b-be p-p-p-pissssedd.”

“Well were just going to have to find her then.” Said the other man harshly It was then I heard two of whoever was out there come up the stairs again something in my gut told me to climb up little. I held onto the wood that sticks out and it was big enough and strong enough for me to climb up it. I climbed all the way to the top. I was careful not to make much noise. I reached to dead end and it was high. From up here I could smell the autumn which calmed me for an instant. At least I knew my brother was alright but I can’t say that for my parents. I heard my phone ringing in my room and I stayed still and held my breath even more if that was possible. It was that she voice who answered the phone. But it was a text.

“It seems our little thing is meeting up with a friend in an hour.” She laughed which almost made me slip and fall. Crap, I almost forgot that I was meeting up with Hiro at Starbucks because he was going to help me with my Japanese language class. I wish I could send a single to Hiro to not to meet there that he too might be in danger. Whomever these people are. I closed my eyes as I heard the thick wood being slid open. I held still and I heard my heart beat and the ringing in my ears. It was then I saw Hiro’s face when I heard the man’s voice that is with the harsh women’s voice. “She is not hidden there. Maybe she is meeting up with that friend.” I keep saying to myself Hiro’s danger go home! Danger Hiro, don’t stay there home danger, danger, danger! I kept the vision of his face behind my tightly closed eyes.

“Les go to Starbucks and see if she has meet this boy.” Came the harsh women’s voice. I stayed up there after they were all gone and until my legs and arms hurt and numb. I stared to climb down and I slid out of my hiding spot I walked shakily out of my messed room and down the stairs. It was then I smelled something sickening and I froze at the bottom my legs felt heavy as I pushed on towards the door way there lied in blood facedown was my father so I thought was my father but I just saw a really old crops of an old man there and it smelled like rotted sewage. I don’t know how I did it but I made it to the kitchen to same thing that was what I thought my mother. I thought I was going to throw up and I did right there on the floor half way into the kitchen. I started to sob after that and I believe I was calling to my parents. What did they do to deserve this? Who were those people? And what happened to my mom and dad?

I stood up from where I had fallen and took a step back and I ran in to something that usually not there it was a someone. I quickly whipped around and ready to run and I screamed. The someone or something grabbed me and knew my name.

“Sonja it’s alright! Your safe I’m not here to hurt you.” I hard his soft soothing voice.
