 I know my company isn't the only one where this happens, but you'd think someone in the higher ups doing the system maintenance would put two minutes of thought into something before they push the button.
The Short: System went down. Databases had been moved. MIDDLE OF AFTERNOON. Every single customer was effected. Resolution: Oops, that shouldn't have happened.
If this didn't happen every time some little change was made, I could easily let it pass, but when it happens every time, you'd think they'd figure out a procedure to keep it from happening. *GRUMBLE*
