 OK, so It's been like, a week since my Ex contacted me. (for the interested, I told the wife day one)
We've chatted back and forth through email, and reminisced over old times, and where we are now. I'd forgotten how much I just liked her. Forget the whole things going bad, and the years of longing that came after, I just like her as a person. I had missed her as a friend. Now, I have the chance to have her as a friend again. That's possibly the best thing that has happened since I married my wife.
So, it appears that, as an example of the male half of the species, I'm hitting the "average" mark. I'll cope.
