 Here it is, the final day of 2008, and what have we learned? Well, we've learned that a lot of things suck balls, but what good have we had this year?
I've kept my Diabetes at bay!
I've written 50,000+ words and hit the NaNoWriMo goal!
I was able to make my wife wibble at her Christmas gift (hehehe!)
I'm still employed (yeah, I know I hate my job, but I'm thankful to have one in this economy).
Those are some really good things. I'm hoping good things happened for you, too! Yes, the year itself has been a bummer for a lot of people, but if we focus on that, things won't get any better.
We all want things to get better, so let's focus on the good things that happened, and let's make more good things happen in the New Year!
(Ok...I'm a natural pessimist, so when optimism bursts forth from my fingers, PAY ATTENTION TO IT!)
