Re-Enlisting

Well, my client is asleep at the moment. Thus, I thought I'd jump on here and update all of you crazy people on my life. I warn you, it will be short-as always. Haha.

I work 4-6 days a week (24 hour shifts) so I am rarely home. This past break between shifts the "shit-eth hit-eth the roof-eth" however. One neighbor went all "exorcist" on me one night. Let's just leave it at the fact that projectile vomit was involved. She had a bad asthma attack earlier that night and her body was reacting to the stress of everything. Another neighbor got horribly sick with something that resembled the flu. Thus, I stayed with her until her step-daughter showed up to pick up her 4 month old baby girl for the night. My neighbor knew that I was upstairs if she needed me but she ended up calling an ambulance around 1:30am that following morning. Thus, I went from taking care of my client to helping take care of my neighbors. That seems to be a trend in one form or another actually.

I get to go to RestoreFest next month. I am so psyched about that concert. It is a 2 day event and I have VIP tickets for it. There will be 20 bands at the concert. Eeeeee! If FFH was also performing, I would be so ecstatic that the cow would jump away from the moon (and away from my crazy self, haha). Alas, they won't be there, but that is okay. I will survive the letdown.

I haven't kept up on here much in the past year or more. I do apologize for that. It is hard finding time to go where an internet connection is located. I normally check up on things on my phone. I can only do so much on my phone though. Thus, I do read your diaries even if I don't update my own. Haha.

I found out yesterday that my cousin Josh's girlfriend died recently. To be perfectly honest, I don't think it was a healthy relationship for either of them and I am glad he is away from her. I worry about him a lot. That does not mean that I don't feel for her sons or anyone else that is affected by her death. I do worry about Josh regarding it though. He has enough issues with depression and actually tried to slit his own throat a few months ago. Please keep everyone involved in this situation in your prayers.

As far as prayers go:

*Yvette--her health and her dad's health issues
*Deloris--her mental and physical health
*Ben--he is having breathing issues recently
*Trisha and Leandra--separate situations but they and their families need prayer...I am not going into details on purpose
*Angie--recovering from a concussion and currently has inner ear problems/air on the brain due to it
*Anyone else who you can think of, I can barely keep all of them straight in my own head. There are too many right now.

I got to talk to my grandparents, Grandma Geri, and cousin Angie. Grandma Geri told me that my brother is thinking about going to see my dad in July. I think I need to talk to Kenny and see if I can tag along. I haven't seen my dad in 11 years, no joke. It would give me good quality time with my brother and his kids too. I would get to know my sister in law and her son more as well. All around, it is a good situation. If all the kids go, it would be chaotic (4 kids ranging in age from 14-2 years old) plus 3 adults. Haha.
Speaking of family, I will have more relatives once my sister in law's brother gets married. It is indirect family but I have met him and his fiance. They are both nice.
I have been connecting with long lost family on Facebook in the past year. That has been fun...challenging at times, but fun.
I got to see my cousin Shilo and her kids (who are growing up WAY too fast for my comfort) in March. I loved seeing them. I wish Emma had been there with her new baby girl. I want to see that baby so bad but she lives in another state.

My friend Rachel and her husband moved to the same town as Emma where currently resides. I miss seeing them on a semi-regular basis but the move is something they felt they had to do. I support their decision even though I wish they could have stayed closer. Eh, that is life. I still have my small group...which is chock-full of awesome people! Well, I probably ought to get off of here and check on my client. Talk to all of you great people later. (You all listen better than people in my real, everyday life. Hehe.)--Robyn
