I made this recipe for dinner on Sunday night. I figured some of you would like to try it out as well. It is a mix of a meal I made a long time ago and improvisation using applied information.
(Boneless skinless) chicken baked (and smothered in cream of mushroom soup)
Ingredients:
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Garlic salt
4 chicken breasts (as specified above), defrosted
2 cans Cream of mushroom soup (Cream of chicken can be substituted)
Directions:
Place chicken in bottom of baking pan. Salt and pepper according to taste. Add garlic salt...to taste. Spoon soup over the chicken breasts evenly. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake dish for 30-45 minutes...or until done. Serve hot.
It is delicious and you can serve plain white rice with the chicken. Use the extra soup as a kind of gravy over the rice, if desired.

Onto other news, I helped the college age group from my church today. We went to the Lifehouse residence and scraped window sills/repainted them. It was a small group that went this time. I had a great time despite doing manual labor. It felt good to be doing something productive. My shoulders and back are a bit sunburnt though. Oh well, that is normal territory for me this time of year. The sunburn does not hurt but it is definitely there. Haha. I had to take another shower today as well...due to being filthy (paint and dirt). I purposely left a paint smudge under my eye and on my shoulder though...to see if anyone will notice. Haha, I'm a geek. In about an hour, I'm leaving for the weekly Koinonia meeting. I missed last week due to taking a longer nap than intended. Last week was the first meeting of the summer.
Well, I need to work on a birthday card for a son of a friend. BJ is turning 8 years old today. They are having his party at a local park where they live. He is going to get a nifty spiderman card.  Talk to all of you later. Vaya con Dios y no loco en la cabeza.  --Robyn |
