Recently my friend who is in her 20's starting seeing a guy whos in his 30's which is a 13 yrs difference. Its just got me thinking when its comes to dating how old is to old? Does age really matter? I think it truly may depend on what type of people they may be. Also, what they are both looking for out of the relationship.
Personally, for me am not sure if i could date someone in their 30's. I think i would be to intimidated. I am just starting to become comfortable with my body. Also, i don't have alot of expierence when it comes to the bedroom. Where on the other hand i think someone in their 30's has fair bit of expierence under their belt when it comes to the bedroom. But, then again i could be wrong?
Also, i live at home. Most 30 year olds live on their own. So i would just feel immature. No, that's not the word because am not immature. I guess maybe young or it would just be awkard?
Am not quite sure where i was going with this. I guess, my friend just got me thinking am i being to critical when its come to age? Could i be passing up something amazing? Should i step out of my comfort zone a little bit? I know, it woldnt hurt to try.
Don't get me wrong. I dont want to sound judgemental. My friend is very mature for her age. & she had a good head on her shoulders. If this is what she choose, then i know she has made the right choice (:

I was dating an older man right before I met my now Husband. I was 22 and he was 38. So we had a 16 year age difference (give or take a few months) between the two of us. We had a great time together - until he started using drugs behind my back and turned into a major coke addict and stole pills, etc, etc. But otherwise, we had a great time. Although there were times that the age thing did clash.. for example, I wanted to get married and have children and he did not, etc. That caused a bit of a problem. But 20 and 30's, I don't think that's too bad as long as they're on the same page for the long term.
One of my very good friends just got engaged to a 33 year old man and she is 19, will be 20 in November. I wouldn't support it if I didn't believe he was a good guy. She's always been attracted to older guys, but this one finally treats her like a woman instead of some item to have.
