Time is just flying by...wish I could slow it down

I can't believe Austin will be 5 tomorrow. Where has the time gone????? Kenny and Jennifer had a party for him today and we're having one here next Sunday. He had a blast today, you'd have thought it was an advertisement for Thomas the Train toys though lol. Almost everything he got was Thomas, a few Cars 2 toys and then just one or two odd ball toys but nothing really different. He had a good time though.

Seems like not too long ago he was learning to walk and talk, then of course the autism issues. I think that really did shadow the last two years. I never really thought about it at the time, but I admit to not making the absolute most of the situation when I should have. I was so worried about what was going on, so aggravated with his behavior and so close to pulling my hair out that I spent a lot of time wishing it was bed time. I don't do that now, but until a few months ago I was doing that, wishing I had some magic answer. I love my kid, he's so much to me but he's growing up and its just flying by. I'm not really sure what to do or think about all of it. He told me today that he had a great birthday, and its still hard to believe how much he's changed. He's maturing.

I'm going to cry just thinking about my baby growing up. Yes I've been wanting another child, I would love to have another kid but I am happy with the one I've got. Going to watch him play with his remote control cranky the crane, he's having a blast lol.
