everyday I'm shuffling
Got back from Salisbury. Went to my friend's wedding. You know. The one that used to be my roommate in my sophomore year of college. It was a nice wedding. Got me thinking about a lot. Good and bad.
I have a hell of a lot to plan. A lot on my mind. Not to mention on Friday night, I discovered "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC. It's funny as hell.
I'm in the process of e-mailing a DJ and got prices, but need to talk to Bry before I e-mail them back about meeting. Oh...boy...
Talked flowers with 2 aunts over the last 2 days. We're going to be doing most of them ourselves. I'm also working out "playlists" in my head. Like, songs to use. Any ideas? I still have some blank spots of what ones to use.
Came up with a KILLER favor idea...need to price it though. It might be up there, but it'll be hella worth it if I can pull it off.
So...
I found out today (quickly I might add) that my dad is out of jail. Yeah. My freaking dad was in jail, AGAIN. I'm so sick of it. I could have spit on the sidewalk if it wasn't storming today. I think it was 2 months this time. But the fact that my dad's presence at my wedding even has to be a question doesn't seem fair. My mom's already not coming (obviously) and neither is my grandmother, but my DAD? Come on.
I could spit galvanized nails.
He called from his cell. At least he's out. I can stop worrying about that. Planning is happening this week. I sure need to get my head on straight.
My goal is not to have a freak-out. I've done pretty good so far.
DJ is gonna be the last HUGE thing to check off my list. I have a bakery, but I need to put a down payment on the cake. Have had the dress for a while now. Reception's booked. Photographer's down.
Lots of tweener stuff left. Wow...
Oh, and the bridesmaid's dress is picked. It might be tricky to get all 5 girls together, though. I don't know...
I'm getting married on May 26th of next year. Am I pretty organized? HEH. Like I would know. Oh well.
