I Always Come Back To You, like herpes.

Hello out there!

Writing a blog kind of feels like you're screaming into the void and then once every great while, you get someone who screams back at you from the distance.

So, I'm back, sort of, after one? two? years. (I just checked and it has been basically one and one half years.) I always do that, though. I've been reading some of my entries and I may not be on here a lot, but I am consistently not here a lot. So, I guess that's the kind of quality you can expect on this blog. You can favorite me because I'll never be here and you'll never have to read an update. Hopefully, that will start changing, though. If Neil Gaiman can have a blog with how terribly busy he is, than so can I.

A little update with life in general:
1.The biggest thing is that I now live with my boyfriend, Justin, which has been mostly an amazing experience. I've never lived with a guy before, except for my brothers, and it's weird how like you'll find yourself in sitcom like situations with him? For example, there's this famous scene in Mad About You where Helen Hunt's character takes a roll of toilet paper and a toilet paper holder, sticks the roll in the holder and says "voila!" to her husband, played by Paul Reiser. I go through that moment EVERY. TIME. I'M. IN. THE. BATHROOM. I love the man, but I swear to god, how hard is it to, once you're finished with a roll, put the new fucking one on?

THE TOILET PAPER SCENE:

Also, I wish that he wouldn't leave dishes or his 75 guitars around. (Okay, not that many, but he seriously does have 7-10 guitars that he lays around all over the house. Right now, I just counted one 6 string, one 12 string, and 5 electric. I am not even joking.)

Other than that, it's wonderful having him here. He is a fantastic cook and we take turns cooking and doing the dishes. I do a lot of cleaning around the house but I don't mind because he tries to help at least. It's also nice to have someone here to watch movies with and talk with and someone that I absolutely love and have so much in common with. Plus, he's an amazing snuggler. :D We'll have been together 2 years on the fourth and that's so strange yet wonderful. I never thought I would be with anyone. Before him I was totally at peace with the fact that I was going to be alone but then he appeared and now he's part of me and I'm part of him.

2. I graduated school, finally, after years of going.
I graduated last spring after taking six classes in the fall, six classes in the spring and one winter intersession class. It was so intense and crazy and a really stressful time for me, but I did it and graduated out with good enough grades to go to grad school one day if I really wanted to go badly enough. Right now, though, since I don't know what I want to do, there's no sense of spending an additional 40,000 dollars for no reason.

3. I work with MetLife now.
Well, it's in a call center, but I work in the Small Markets Department, talking to business owners and brokers for the better part of my day. It's okay, actually, and being able to help clients out of what they believe to be a huge mess (sometimes, it actually is huge, but most of the time very fixable) is a really cool feeling. Plus, I actually got a sort of promotion recently, where I now get to grade calls that were taken as well. It helps me be better on the phone by grading calls because I have to know more in depth what's going on than most.

4. My writing is still... scarce.
I'm going to stop that now, though and actually try. Really, really try this time to actually write something and finish it. There's the important step. Actually finishing a piece would be the greatest feeling in the world.

So that about sums up everything over the past year and a half. lol

This weekend is a special weekend, though. Justin and I are celebrating our 2 years with a four day weekend. I have off today, tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday. This is a rarity for me since I never take days off. He also has a show tonight with his band, SHOZO, that I am super ridiculously excited about. I haven't gotten to see him perform in forever. It's been far too long.

I cant' wait for this weekend to start.

-Fin for now.
