Still do not have wireless hooked up but we are able to come over to the hospital and hook up, which is nice.
The group from Naumburg is leaving on Monday so we will be traveling back to Port au Prince. We heard a rumor that they are going to be fixing the road soon probably not before we go but hopefully it will be easier traveling in the future. The original road was washed out when the hurricanes came through this past year.
We are hoping to be planting a garden within the next few weeks but we need some rain to loosen up the soil. Rusco (the caretaker at the mission) got the rototiller running the other day and the kids took turns pushing it. They seemed to have a great time doing that. I think most of these kids just need something constructive to do with their energy.
It's quite hot. We went to the beach yesterday which was refreshing. |
