In a short term test of attention to the internet, word and image association, and quick response, that worked far better than I supposed it would. Perhaps a longer term test one day.
I'm thinking that he does care and that he was pleased to receive a text message from me but that he is busy so he isn't talkative. (He isn't home.) Moreover, I think that he is probably confused about talking to me and doesn't know how to reaction. I was pleased that he responded earlier and that he was nice. I still have hope for a friendship in the future.
